How to Install OxygenOS on OnePlus One? – Complete Guide

When OnePlus One was announced back in 2014, it created quite the buzz because the specs and features the smartphone came with were just amazing. First of all, you need to download OxygenOS ROM from the link given below on your computer or Android device.

Once the ROM is downloaded on your device, you have to un-zip the file. When you un-zip the downloaded file, you will see another zip folder named “oxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.zip”. Keep this in a place you can remember.

Steps to Install OxygenOS on OnePlusOne:

  • The first thing you have to do is connect your device with your computer using the USB data cable and then copy the above downloaded file on your device. Make sure to download the zip file named “oxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.zip” on your phone.
  • Now boot your OnePlus One device into recovery mode by holding down both volume down key and the power button.
  • Once you are into TWRP mode, you will have to do a factory reset of your device to delete all the data from your phone. So do a “wipe data/ factory reset”, then do “wipe cache partition” and finally select “wipe dalvik cache” if that option is also available.
  • Now go to Install option and find the destination where you copied the zip file. Select oxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.zip and finally select OK.
  • This will flash OxygenOS on your OnePlus One device.
  • Once the ROM is flashed successfully, you will have to reboot the device. The reboot will take some minutes to boot up the first time so don’t panic as it is normal.

  • Printer service may stop while printing images.
  • You can not hang up a call using the headphone controls.

  • When you upload files to the cloud then the files may crash sometimes or it may crash while renaming images.
  • Files doesn’t support multi-select deleted yet.
